ECHOES

Concept

Echoes is a visual exploration inspired by the music of Fred again.. and the emotional connection his work creates within a digitally driven generation.

In a world shaped by constant connectivity and the fear of missing out, music becomes a space where people can reconnect with something deeply human. Fred again.. builds his sound from fragments of real voices, memories, and moments, transforming them into echoes that resonate beyond the experience.

Scientifically, sound travels through waves and vibrations that move through our bodies and environments. These vibrations allow us to feel music both physically and emotionally, creating a shared resonance between people. In this way, music becomes more than sound, it becomes a form of connection.

This project translates that idea into the promotion of a conceptual live event for Fred again.., designed by both digital and physical. The visuals explores how music can move between spaces, from screens to physical experience, bringing people together through shared sound and emotion.

The fingerprint motif becomes a central visual symbol in the project. Much like sound waves, the lines of a fingerprint ripple outward, representing identity, memory, and resonance. Just as echoes carry traces of voices, fingerprints carry traces of who we are. Together, they reflect how music becomes an extension of our bodies and our collective experience.

ECHOES ARCHIVE

The Archive Book

As part of the project, an editorial book was created to archive the visual echoes of the experience. The publication translates sound into visual form through typography, layered imagery, and fragmented compositions that mirror the rhythm and repetition found in music.

Much like an echo carries traces of a voice, each page captures fragments of memories, emotions, and sonic moments inspired by the music of Fred again...

The book becomes a physical artifact of the project, preserving the emotional resonance of the event and transforming sound into something visual, tactile, and lasting.

ECHOES USB

As part of the physical archive of the project, the USB becomes a symbolic object designed to preserve the emotional echoes of the experience. While today most of our memories live inside our phones and digital clouds, the USB represents something more fundamental a small vessel where sound, memories, and moments can be intentionally stored.

Encased within a limestone rock inspired form, the object draws from the idea that certain natural formations are shaped through vibration, pressure, and the constant movement of waves. Much like ocean waves shape limestone over time, sound waves move through space and through our bodies, leaving traces of experience behind.

The fingerprint motif becomes an essential element of the object. Every fingerprint carries the marks of what we touch and interact with. In this project, it symbolizes how music becomes part of us how moments, sounds, and shared experiences leave an imprint on our identity.

The USB therefore becomes more than a storage device. It acts as a small archive of echoes: preserving memories, voices, and emotions from the event in a physical form. Just as echoes carry fragments of sound across space, this object holds fragments of the experience, reminding us that music is not only something we hear it is something we become part of.

THE ECHOES BOX

The box holds the physical archive of the project, containing the book and USB that preserve the echoes of the experience. Instead of creating a rigid, perfectly structured box, it was designed with flowing, fragmented surfaces that resemble waves and vibrations.

The form was 3D printed and developed over two weeks, allowing it to evolve into a more organic shape. These wave like textures reference how sound moves through space constantly shifting, expanding, and resonating.

The entire box is finished in silver, creating a reflective surface that mirrors what surrounds it. This reflection represents the connection between the inside and the outside of the experience, showing how music, memories, and emotions are shaped by the people who experience them.

In this way, the box becomes more than just packaging. It acts as a physical object that holds and preserves the echoes of the event.

DIGITAL PROJECT

As part of the digital component of the project, a 37 second motion graphic was created to translate the emotional energy of Fred again..’s music into visual form. The piece combines collage, layered textures, hand drawn marks, and dynamic movement inspired by one of his live sets in Mexico City.

One of the central moments shows the silhouette of Fred again.. performing, filled with moving figures both inside and outside the shape. This visual represents the collective experience of music, how individual voices and emotions come together, reminding us that through music we are all part of the same moment.
